Since December 2002, Northern Rivers Cardiovascular Clinic has provided specialist cardiac services to this region. Our doctors keep current through the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, and through teaching and clinical trials.

Ultrasound of the heart, performed by our sonographers and reported with our cardiologists.
Stress echocardiography
Exercise ultrasound to look for reduced blood flow to the heart muscle, without nuclear radiation.
Exercise stress testing
Treadmill ECG testing for ischaemia, exercise capacity, and rhythm on effort.
ECG and heart-rhythm monitoring
Resting ECG, Holter and event monitoring for palpitations, syncope, and arrhythmia.
Pacemaker and defibrillator clinic
Regular device checks with company technicians, so pacemakers and ICDs are followed carefully.
